Originally from New York, at the age of 19, Maryanne drove cross country until she parked her bug by the sea and fell in love. She received her BA in Communications/Visual Arts from UCSD and then opened McGuire Photography.
Since opening twenty years ago, Maryanne's work has taken her around the world - from Europe, the West Indies, and throughout the United States. In the past couple years she has traveled to Saint Thomas, The Bahamas, Aruba, Hawaii, Victoria BC, and Puerto Vallarta. Travel is deeply rooted in her, and she loves every chance she gets to combine her passion for traveling with her love of photography.
Maryanne believes every photo should evoke a feeling, and capture the emotion and essence of each individual.
